It's a rare possibility to visit an aristocratic venue, designed between the end of XIX and the beginning of XX centuries, when they found irresistible to live in a middle age castle, mixing totally false (and often kitsch) furnitures and tapestries, with original and sometimes important pieces-of-art... The influence from Pre-Raphaelite to D'Annunzio atmospheres declined according to Milan common sense. Easy and quick to visit, even without reservation, if you have an empty half-a-hour in the "quadrilatero". In the second courtyard, the very stylish restaurant "Il salumaio", used as scenography on"devil wears Prada 2".

An absolutely gorgeous and quick museum (originally a notable family’s home). A lot of detail and history within the family and the home. They have an app to download in different languages that you can follow through the home and learn about each room. Really really cool and I definitely recommend for anyone, whether you’re a history buff, love architecture and details or just looking for a quick escape from the bustling streets of Milan.

This is hands down one of the best collections of armoury you will ever see. This museum’s collection was absolutely fantastic, I really enjoyed seeing the various guns, swords, shields, crossbows and helmets. It was very well displayed and organized. Great place to take family and kids. I would definitely recommend visiting this museum if you’re in Milan. You won’t regret it.
